DeLois Ellison Services Sunday
Funeral services for DeLois Ann Ellison, 44, Manvel, Texas, formerly of West Plains, will be at 2 pm Sunday in the Rose Chapel , Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
Mrs Ellison died Tuesday morning in John Sealy Hospital, Galveston, Texas. She was born April 13, 1939, in Randolph County, the daughter of Opal Cox Britt and he late Bennie Britt.
She received her education in the schools of West Plains, and on July 25, 1959, she was married at West Plains to James E Ellison. She had been of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her husband, James E Ellison, Manvel, Texas; four children, Ruth Ann Carroll, Jim Dean Ellison, Bill Eugene Ellison, and Darell Edward Ellison, all of Manvel, Texas; one grandchild; her mother, Mrs Opal Britt, Springfield; two brothers, Melvin Britt, Dallas, Texas, and Mike Britt, Galveston, Texas; one sister, Betty Murphy, Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and one infant sister.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 pm Saturday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
