Funeral services Sat. for Leonard Collins

Funeral services for Leonard Darrell Collins, 58, West Plains, will be 10 am Saturday, May 26, 2001, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with the Rev Glenn Murray officiating.
Mr Collins died at 8 am Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at his home near West Plains.
He was born Nov. 7, 1942, at West Plains, the son of Elvin D and Mamie Bessie Hunter Collins.
On May 20, 1963, he was married at Fairfield, Calif., to Karin L Brookshire.
Mr Collins had worked for many years for the Green Valley School District as a custodian and before his retirement had worked for Public Water Supply District No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Karin Collins of the family home; three children, Christina Roberson and husband, Tim, and Matthew Collins and wife, Jacque, all of West Plains, and Andrew Collins and wife Deanna, Fairfield, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Janel Collins, Joshua Collins, Dustin Collins, Brandon Roberson, Cody Collins, Jasmine Collins, and Ryan Roberson; two brothers, Jerry Collins and wife, Carla, and Jack Collins and wife Faye, all of West Plains; four brothers in law, Vncente Palomo, Reno, Nev., Phillip Palomo and Mark Palomo, both of Vallejo, Calif., and Paul Palomo and Angela Crew, both of Winters, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
Mr Collins is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Judy Smith; a brother, Jimmie Collins; and his grandparents.
Mr Collins is now in Gods hands.
The body will lie in state from 11 am Friday until service time at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Dripping Springs Cemetery under the direction of the funeral home.
