Graveside Services Held for Lawrence Thompson

Graveside services for Lawrence Otis Thompson, 77, West Plains, were 2 pm Sunday, August 17, 1997, at Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with the Rev Bobby Brazeal officiating.
Mr Thompson died 9:25 pm Thursday, August 14, 1997, at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains. He was born July 19, 1920, near West Plains, the son of Calvin and Annie Johnson Thompson.
At Salem, Ark, he married Juanita Hattie Rollins, who preceded him in death June 10, 1980.
He had been employed at Cloud Oak Flooring, and before his retirement, worked at the West Plains Cheese Company. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include three children, James A Thompson and wife Debra, Peace Valley, Viola Thompson, West Plains, and Charles Thompson, Caldwell, Idaho; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Dinah Poe and husband, Johnny, Tarkio, and Dorothy Driskell and husband Willie, Tarkio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sons and two brothers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Evergreen Cemetery and left at the funeral home.
