Keagan Lee Collins
Keagan Lee Collins, of Willow Springs, son of Kevin Lee Collins and Garnette Lee Roark Surritte, was born Aug. 22, 1990 at West Plains, Mo. He died April 28, 2002 at his home in Willow Springs at the age of 11 years 8 months and 6 days.
Keagan was a homebound student of Willow Springs school.
He was a blessing to everyone he came in contact with. He loved taking long walks in his whellchair and watching cartoons and basketball on television.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Garnette & Michael Surritte of Willow Springs; his father and step-mother, Kevin Lee and Kileene Collins of West Plains; one brother Charles Lee Collins and one sister, Marabeth AnnaLee Collins, both of Willow Springs; two step-brother, Isaiah and Jacob surritte of Willow Springs and one step-sister, Amber Surritte of Denver, Colo.; his grandparents, William Dub and Mary Leslie Roark of West Plains; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Larkin Leon and Patricia Ann Collins and Calvin Surritte.
Services were Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at the Willow Springs first Baptist Church beginning at 2 p.m. with Raymond Larimore officiating.
Burial to follow at Howell Memorial Park with Willow Funeral Home in charge.
