Collins, 70, West Plains, are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Carter Funeral Home, West Plains. Mrs. Collins died today in West Plains Memorial Hospital. West Plains Daily Quill Tues., Jan. 14, 1975 Katie E. Collins Rites Tomorrow Funeral services for Katie Elizabeth Collins, 70, West Plains, will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in the Carter Chapel, Wet Plains, with the Rev. Lowell Parsons officiating. Mrs. Collins died yesterday at 2:40 a.m. in West Plains Memorial Hospital. She was born July 28, 1904, in Siloam Springs, Mo., the daughter of the late Western and Lucinda Collins. She was married Dec. 4, 1925, at Howell County, Mo., to Shelt Collins. Survivors include her husband, Shelt Collins, West Plains; five daughters, Mrs. Imogene Goss, Mrs. Luverna Hightower, Mrs. Norma Lee Collins, all of west Plains; Mrs. Lillian Mae Shepherd, Wabash, Ind.; Mrs. Bernice Daugherty, Imperial, Mo.; two brothers, Elmer Collins, West Plains; Emmert Collins, state of California; two sisters, Mrs.. Della Collins, Springfield, Mo.; Mrs.. Grace McLaren, Topeka, Kan.; 18 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Preceding her in death are her parents, three sisters and one brother. Burial will be in Siloam Springs Cemetery under direction of the Carter Funeral Home, West Plains. |
