Juanita H Thompson Services Friday
Funeral services for Juanita Hattie Thompson, 67, West Plains, will be held at 2 pm Friday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with the Rev Larry McCreary officiating.
Mrs Thompson died at 10 pm Tuesday in West Plains Memorial Hospital. She was born June 9, 1913, at Corning, Ark, the daughter of the late Charlie and Willie Reed Pence.
She received her education in the schools at Corning, Ark, and was married Dec 4, 1968 at Salem,Ark, to Lawrence "Odie" Thompson. She came to West Plains 30 years ago from Neeleyville. Mrs Thompson was a member of the Pentecostal Church, her membership for the past 20 years being in the Jesus Name Pentecost Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence "Odie" Thompson, West Plains, one daughter, Jo Ann Rollins, residing in Germany; several grandchildren; one sister, Lottie Jewell, Thayer; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and three brothers.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm Thursday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
