Curry Street Church of Christ

   Jonathan Lee Collins, son of J. D. and Maxine Mae Cope Collins, was born December 9, 1957 at West Plains, Missouri.  He entered into eternal rest June 27, 1993 at the age of thirty-five years.
   He received his elementary education at the Howell Valley School, graduated from the West Plains Hight School with the Class of 1976 and had attended the West Plains Campus of Southwest Missouri State University.  On May 20, 1984, Mr. Collins was married at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas to Jennifer Lea Edwards.
   He was the local delivery dirver for Luna Truck Lines for many years, was  a farmer and also loved to deer and turkey hunt.  Mr. Collins was a member of the National Rifle Association and was a member of the Alton-Thayer Elk's Club.
   Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Jennifer Collins, of the family home; three children, Jesse Collins, Jade Collins and Jaxon Collins, all of the family home; his parents, J. D. and Maxine Collins, West Plains, Missouri; two brothers, David Collins, wife, Pam and their children, Jhett and Chandler, Springfield, Missouri and Jeff Collins, efie, Trin and son, Nicholas, West Plains, Missouri; his maternal grandmother, Jennie Cope, West Plains, Missouri; many aunts, uncles and cousins including a special cousin, Amber Light, Poplar Bluff, Missouri; his mother-in-law, Peggy Edwards, Thayer, Missouri; and his father-in-law, Glen Edwards, Thayer, Missouri.
   He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sherman and Alta Collins and his maternal grandfather, W. I (Ishmael) Cope.
   Mr. Collins was of the Church of Christ faith with his membership in the Curry Street Church of West Plains.
