| In Memory of Johnnie Wilson Lovan 1928-1992 Services Saturday, February 8, 1992 - 2 p.m. Rose Chapel Minister Rev. Larry Shipley Johnnie Wilson Lovan, son of the late Jeff and Erma Montgomery Lovan, was born August 10, 1928 at Twin Bridges, Missouri. He entered into eternal rest February 5, 1992 at the age of sixty-three years. He received his education in the Big Springs School and was married to Betty Tracey. On July 3, 1961, Mr. Lovan was married at Carthage, Missouri to Rosa Lee Coble who preceded him in death on June 29, 1989. On December 4, 1989, Mr. Lovan was married at Mountain Home, Arkansas to Janet Louise Berry. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. Until his retirement, Mr. Lovan had been employed as a certified welder of Howard Construction Company in Sedalia, Missouri for thirty years. Mr. Lovan was a member and past president of the West Plains Eagles Lodge and was a charter member of the Am Vets Number 98, West Plains, Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Louise Lovan, of the family home; three children, Ed Lovan and wife, Diane, West Plains, Missouri, Janice Volley and Bradley Lovan, both of the State of Oregon; three step children, Bonnie Reed, Bolivar, Missouri, Robin March, Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Darrell W. Berry, Dora, Missouri; three grandchildren, Amanda Lovan, Matthew Lovan and Phillip Jonathan (P.J.) all of West Plains, Missouri; four step grandchildren; two brothers, Leroy Lovan, Willow Springs, Missouri and Red Lovan, Caldwell, Idaho; four sisters, Mae Collins, West Plains, Missouri, Vena Wandmaker, Bristol, California, Nina Barlett, Pilot Rock, Oregon and Lois McDowell, State of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lovan is preceded in death by his parents, his wives, one brother, Abra Lovan and three sisters, Joyce Perkins, June Frommel and Vera Lovan, who died in infancy. He was a member of the World Wide Church of God.
