| John Clyde Estes, 70 of 201 W. Lynn St., died at 1:15 PM Tuesday in Blytheville, of a Heart Attack while on a business trip. Mr. Estes had traveled in Arkansas for the past 30 years as sales representative for Shaw - Barton Advertising Company, formerly the Gerlock Barklow Company. Death occurred while he was accompanied by his wife, was on a sales trip to northeast Arkansas. He became ill in a Hotel in Blytheville and was dead on arrival at a Blytheville hospital. Born April 18, 1892, at Siloam Springs, MO., he had been an Arkansas resident since 1910, and had lived in Stuttgart since 1952, moving here from Pine Bluff. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. A Navy veteran of WW l, he was a member of American Legion, and of Arkansas Funeral Supply Salesman Club. He was Justice of the Peace elect for Gum Pond Township. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Ruby Crist Estes; two daughters Mrs. Royce brown of Pine Bluff and Mrs. Bob Powers of Dallas Texas; two grandchildren; two brothers, O. T. Estes of Stuttgart and O.J. Estes of Neosho, MO.; a sister Mrs. John Redemsky of Clearwater Florida. Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM Thursday in St. John's Lutheran Church here by the Rev. E. A. Brockmann.
