Interment Held Yesterday For John C Jones
Funeral services for John Calvin Jones were held at 2 pm yesterday in the Second Baptist Church, the Rev Leser Bradford and the Rev Larkin Haden officiating.
Mr Jones died Saturday morning at his home here.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Dale Hayes, Bob Bradshaw, Robert Aborn, LeRoy Jones, Virgil Parker, and Tom Landreth.
Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home of West Plains.
Those attending the services from out of town were Mr and Mrs Lee Lovins and Connie, Mrs Ronald Kellogg Mr and Mrs Owen Martin and children and Mr and Mrs Cecil Johnson, all of Kalamazoo, Mich; Mr and Mrs Clarence Minor, Mrs Minnie Jones, all of Springfield, Mo; Mr and Mrs Tom Landreth and Tom of Carterville, Mo; and Mrs Melissa Hodge of Jay, Okla.
