Jessie Berniece Ford, daughter of the late John Morris Ellison and Lou Vena Hunter Ellison was born July 4, 1916 in Dunn, Missouri and died November 9, 1998 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 82 years, 4 months, and 5 days.
She was united in marriage June 11, 1931 in Howell County, Missouri to Carl Ford Sr.
She is survived by six children, Maxine Ross of Lake City, Iowa; Opal Maynard and her husband, Sam Sr, of West Plains; Wilma Earls and her husband, Charles of West Plains; Louise Webster and her husband, Don of El Dorado, Kansas; Carl Ford Jr nad his wife Charlotte of West Plains; Jimmie Dale Ford and his wife, Twila of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; one brother, Ed Ellison of West Plains; fourteen grandchildren, Carol Heim of Lake City, Iowa; Terrel Ross of West Plains; Jackie Beyer of Lake City, Iowa; Jan Squire of West Plains; Pete Jordan of West Plains; Sammy Maynard Jr of West Plains; Sharon Bacon of Ozark, Mo; Linda Bennett of Willow Springs; Daphne Keese of Wichita, Kansas; Mark Ford of West Plains; Angie Ford of New York City, NY; Ty Ford of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Gunner Ford of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Leslie Squire of Springfield, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ford Sr, her parents, one brother, Lester Ellison; one granddaughter, Ellen Blum and one son in law, Earl Ross.
She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
