Funeral Tuesday For Jerry W. Thompson
Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Thompson, 12, West Plains, the son of Jerry and Wanda Collins Thompson, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with the Rev. Ira Johnson officiating.
The youth drowned Saturday night in a farm pond south of the Pumpkin Center community. He was born April 2, 1965, at Kansas City, Mo., the son of Jerry and Wanda Collins Thompson.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry Dean Thompson, Moberly, Mo.; and Wanda Collins Thompson, Jefferson City, Mo.; a brother, Terry Edward Thompson, and a sister, Darcy Lou Thompson, both of West Plains; his paternal grandmother, Bertie Thompson, Madison, Ill.; his paternal great-grandmother, Alice Yochum, West Plains; the maternal grandparents, Anson and Lottie Collins, West plains; and several aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Dean Thompson.
Interment will be in Collins Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
