Jerry Wayne Lung, son of Emery Clyde and Ada Jane King Lung, was born November 20, 1940 at West Plains, Missouri. Entered into eternal rest January 30, 1987 at the age of forty-six years.
He received his education in the schools of West Plains, Missouri graduating from the West Plains High School with the Class of 1958. On March 6, 1960 he was married at West Plains to Pearl Faye Turner.
Mr Lung had been employed with the City of West Plains for over twenty years and was Superintendant of Streets for the City of West Plains.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Lung, of the family home; five children, Jerry Lung, West Plains, Sheri Lung, Jonesboro, Arkansas, Sharlet Collins, South Fork, Mo, Jeffery Lung, and Josh Lung, both of the family home; four grandchildren; his parents, Emery and Ada Lung, West Plains; one sister, Sharan Ward, West Plains adn several nieces and nephews.
Mr Lung is preceded in death by his grandparents.
He was of the Baptist faith with this membership in the Second Baptist Church.
