James Collins services held

  Funeral services for James Junior Collins, 70, Willow Springs, were 2 p.m. today, Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, at Westside Community Church, Willow Springs, under the direction of Willow Funeral home of Willow Springs.
  Mr. Collins died Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains.  He was born Feb. 16, 1931, at Willow Springs, the son of James Washington and Melissie Davis Collins.
  On Feb. 14, 1997, he was married at Tyrone to Rosa Cook.
  He was employed as a tie buyer at Hobbs Western and at Kopper Company. He was a pastor at Bethel, Clear Springs and Pleasant Hill community Churches.
  Mr. Collins loved to talk about the Bible, and he loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
  Survivors include his wife, Rosa Collins, of the family home; two brothers, Claude Collins, Willow Springs, and Dillard Collins, West Plains; one sister, Evelyn Mayton, Willow Springs; four sons, Kenneth Roberts, Nampa, Idaho, Lonnie Roberts, CAuldwell, Idaho, Timmie Shriver, Summersville, and Ron Shriver, Willow Springs; eight daughters, Barbar Snyder and Bonnie Brown both of West Plains, Pat Shriver, Poplar Bluff, Marsha Lovan Willow Springs, Betty DeRock, Nyssa, Ore., Linda Atwood, Boise, Idaho, Brenda Dampier, Tunas, and Opal Reese, Eminence.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Irene; two sisters; and two brothers.
  Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of Willow Funeral Home.
