| West Plains Daily Quill Iva Harris services Saturday Graveside services fro Iva Jane Harris, 81, Mtn. Home, Ark., and formerly of West Plains, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, at Parsons Cemetery, Dora, with Rev. Louis Stephens officiating under the direction of Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home, Mtn. Home. Mrs. Harris died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000, at Care Manor Nursing Home, Mtn. Home. She was born April 8, 1919, at Dora, the daughter of Roy and Ada Collins Gunter. Mrs. Harris was a retired presser for Murrell's Dry Cleaners in West Plains, and had livd in Mtn. Home since June 1993. She was an avid seamstress, and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include three daughters, Wanda Coats and husban Richard, Mtn. Home, Joyce Roberson, Flippin, Ark., and Bonnie Shirah and husband Jim, Columbus, Ga.; one son, J.D. Harris and wife, Gladys, Mtn. Home; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Doyle Gunter, Richmond, Wash.; one sister, Geretta Foley, Arkansas Pass, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, on sister and one granddaughter. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. |
