Irene Collins services Sunday
Funerl services for Irene Collins, 70, West Plains, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 1988, in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, with the Rev. Stasey Sheppard offficiating.
Mrs. Collins died at 12:24 a.m. Friday, April 1, 1988, at her home. She was born July 21, 1917, at Dora, the daughter of Fate and Elizabeth Dobbs Freeman.
She was married May 31, 1934, at West Plains to Ermon Collins, and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Ermon Collins, West Plains; two daughters, Lena Howard, Dora, and Ruby Thompson, West Plains; three sons, Doyne Collins, Donaldy Collins and Glen Collins, all of West Plains; one brother Delbert Freeman, West Plains; four sisters, Misty Hafner, Culp Creek, Ore.; Froza Mortiz, Versailles, Rosie Moffis and Lela Collins, both of West Plains; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Doyle Collins, two sisters, Ester Hancock and Leona Bell, two grandson, Steve and Murphy Collins and a great-granddaughter, Christine Beljean.
Burial will be in Sweeton Pone Cemetery at Dora.
