Horace William Collins

  Horace William Collins, of Willow Springs, Missouri, son of the late Jim Dan Collins and Nora Collins was born Feb. 27, 1931 in Siloam Springs, Mo.
  He departed this life May 2, 2002 at his home in Willow Springs, at the age of 71 yars 2 months and 5 days.
  Horace was united in marriage to Yvonne Jones Collins on June 4, 2000 at Willow Springs, Mo.
  During his working years, Horace was a welder.  He also farmed for several years.  He was a member of Bethel Community Church.
  He is survived by his wife, Yvonne of the family home; one daughter, Deborah Ganzales of Pomona; two stepchildren, Merlyn Vermillion and Larry Collins, both of Willow Springs; one brother Edmond Collins of Kansas City Kan.; six grandchildren, Mike Gonzales, Stephen Conzales, Brent Collins, Graig Dale Vermillion, Jr., Rose Marie Collins and Jessica Vermillion; three great-grandchildren, Makenzi Taylor, Gabriella Gonzales and Martin Collins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
  He was preceded in death by two sons, Horace Wayne and Gregory Joe Collins; six brother, Floyd, Lloyd, Paul, Delbert, Arlin and Edward Collins; three sisters, Allene, Pauline and Beatrice, and his father and mother.
  Services were Sunday, May 5, 2002 at Bethel Community Church beginning at 2 p.m. with Lloyd Collins officiating.  Burial to follow at Burnham Cemetery with Willow Funeral Home in charge.
