In Memory of
Henry W. Beasley

   Henry W. Beasley was born September 23, 1892, at Willow Springs, Missouri, the son of James M. and Nancy Ann Herndon Beasley.  He married Grace E. Young, November 18, 1918, at Manhattan.  She preceded him in death February 3, 1971.
   Mr. Beasley was employed by the Railway Express, retiring fromt hat company in 1934.  He lived and farmed in the Richmand, Ottawa and waverly areas until 1971, when he and his wife entered the nursing home.
   Mr. Beasley was a member of the Christian Church at New Strawn and a a 50-year member of the American Legion.
   Left to mourn his passing are two daughter, Mrs. Ruth Stine, Duncan, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Dorothy Commeree, Paola; a step step-son, Lawrence Nearmyer, Dennison, Texas; thre step-daughters, Mrs. Edna Roebuck, Mrs. Opal Kunkle and Mrs. Carol Teall, all of Waverly; four brothers, E. A. Beasley, American forks, Utah; Bill Beasley, Holden, Mo.; Lee and Fred Beasley, both of Parsons; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Dean, Erie; Mrs. Fay Dean, Galesburg, and Mrs. May Swayze, Parsons; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
