| Harvey Cylvestor Lovins, son of the late Joseph Thomas and Nancy Turner Lovins, was born April 29, 1904, at Grimmett, Mo. He entered into eternal rest December 27, 1989 at the age of eighty-five years. He received his education in the Bridges School in Howell County, Missouri and on October 29, 1935 was married at Salem, Arkansas to Bessie Haring. Mr Lovins is survived by his wife, Bessie Lovins of the family home; three children, Tommie Lovins, and wife Charlene, Pomona, Missouri, Shirlene Collins and husband, Wade, West Plains, Missouri, and Lloyd Earl Lovins, Lewiston, Idaho; several grandchildren, including, Tim Lovins and wife Shelly, Pomona, Missouri, Loretta Collins and Cody Collins, both of West Plains, Missouri; several great grandchildren, including Jessica Lovins and Mitch Lovins, both of Pomona, Missouri; several great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, two infant daughters, one grandson, four sisters, Minnie Woods, Inez Turner, Mable Anderson, and Edna Farmer, three brothers, Mitch Lovins, John Lovins, and Charlie Lovins. Mr Lovins was of the Baptist faith with his membership at the Mt Zion Baptist Church at Olden, Missouri since early manhood. |
