Harold Collins rites Saturday

  Funeral services for Harold Collins, 62, West Plains, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with the Rev. Robert Collins, Springfield, officiating.
  Mr. Collins died at 4:50 a.m. Tuesday at his home.  He was born Jan. 22, 1924, in Douglas County, the son of the late Lonel O. and Clercy Johnson Collins.
  He received his education in the schools of Douglas County, and on April 29, 1946, he was married at Salem, Ark., to Ora Belle Collins.  Mr. Collins was a veteran of World War II, Having served with the U.S. Army.  Until 1966, he had been employed by Rudy Patrick Seed Co. in Kansas City, and had been a member of the Eagles Lodge, West Plains.  He had been of the Baptist faith.
  Survivors include eight children, Judy Harden, Harold Junior Collins and Kenneth Collins, all of West Plains, Robert Collins, Springfield, Sibley Collins, Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, Sheila Keller, Caulfield, Joseph Collins, Okinawa, Japan, and Ora Kanatzar, Fort Ord, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; six brothers, Norman Collins, Republick of Philippines, Hubert Collins, Apache Junction, Ariz., oren Collins, Willow Springs, Lonel Collins and Amil Collins, both of Cabool, and Arnold Collins, St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Vivan Smith, Willow Springs, and Virginia Roe, Libourn; and several nieces and nephews.
  His parents and one infant brother preceded him in death.
Burial will be in Old Horton Cemetery.
