Harold Alvin Collins

   Harold Alvin Collins of Pomona, Mo., son of the late Ben Clyde Collins and Mamie Pringle Collins, was born Oct. 18, 1926, in Willow Springs, Mo.  He died Jan. 17, 2002, at his home in Pomona at the age of 75 years, two months and 30 days.
   Harold was united in marriage to Mary Vearlee Seiber in 1945 at Willow Springs.  To this union, seven children were born.  Harold was an automobile mechanic and boy repairman.  He was employed by the Pomona Truck Stop for several years, until his retirement.  He was Christian.
    Harold is survived by three sons, Paul Collins of Mountain View, Joe Collins and wife, Jeanette, of Grove, Okla., and Albert Collins of Springfield, Mo.; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Debbie and Arthur Ebert of Cabool and Phyllis and Mike Prater of Springfield, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Joe Harold Collins Jr., Arthur Ebert Jr., Christina Finicia, Michael Ebert, Nathan Collins, Bobby Finicia, Travis Ebert, Joshua Collins and Dessera Finicia, and a host of other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in July of 1992; and two sons, Bob Collins in February 1996, and Delbert Collins July 1999; two brothers, Ralph and Clyde Collins and his father and mother.
   Graveside services were Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Mackey Cemetery in Pomona beginning at 2 p.m. under the direction of Willow Funeral Home.
