Harlin W. Collins services Saturday

  Servieces for Harlin W. Collins, 66, West Plains, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marvin Nicols officiating.  Interment will be in Collins Cemetery.
  Mr. Collins died at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Veterans Hospital at Columbia.
  He was born April 8, 1917 at Siloam Springs, the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and clara Alice Johnson Collins.
  Mr. Collins received his education in the Star School near Siloam Springs and on May 11, 1941, was married in Douglas County to Elma Clinton.
  He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns.  He also was a member of the Willow Springs Memorial Post No. 7161 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
  Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Elma; five children, Lonnie, Vern, Ronald, Doyle and William, all of West Plains; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cletis and Nelson, both of West Plains; one sister, Essie Wake, West Plains; and a number of nieces and nephews.
  He was preceded in death by his parents, three sons, one grandson, two sisters and one brother.
  The family will recieve friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Robertson-Drago.

Harlin Collins funeral held

  Funeral Services for Harlin W. Collins, West Plains, were at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, witht he Rev. Marvin Nichols officiating.
  Mr. Collins died May 24 in the VA Hospital, Columbia.
  Pallbearers were: Walter Collins, Russell dAvis, Clyde Petrey, Buster Wake, Houston Jackson and Kenneth Melton.
  Persons attending from out of the area included Mr. and Mrs. Russell Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Joe Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Buster Wake, Horace Collins, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Stubbs, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Petrey, Kenneth Melton, Tilly Lowe, Mr and Mrs Teddy Collins, all of Willow Springs.
  Sue Davis and Shirley Loman, Cabool; Leonna Day, Mtn. Grove; Sharon Sanders, New Orleans, La.; Mr. and Mrs. Buster Collins, Mr and Mrs. Ralph Oaks, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Collins, Adeline Collins, Edward Collins, Fred Collins and Nancy Thompson and son, all of Pomona.
  Burial was in Collins Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funerl Home, West Plains.
