George L. Moore, 74, died at Mt. Vernon, funeral services today
George L. Moore, 74, died at the state hospital in Mt. Vernon, Mo., Monday, May 2, at 8:35 p.m. He was a resident of the Clear Springs community for many years and was a retired farmer.
Mr. Moore was born in Willow Springs, Mo., on April 8, 1892, the son of the late Walter and Lucy Thomas Moore.
Survivors include four sons, Eugene Moore, St. Paul, Minn.; Joseph, Randy and Keith Moore, all of St. Joseph, Mo. A daughter, Helen, of St. Paul, Minn.; a brother, W. R. Moore, Springfield, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Debo, Willow Springs and Mrs. Effie Daniels, Warsaw, Mo.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 5, at the Pleasant Grove Church, at 2 p.m. witht he Rev. George Turner, officiating. Burial was made in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
