| Obituary GEORGE L. McNULTY Services were held December 1975 at 2:00 p.m. in the Blunt Mortuary, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Interment with full military honors at the cemetery nearby for George L. McNulty, 61, a former Marshall area redident, who passed awy Dec. 5, 1975 in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Mr. McNulty resided in Colorado Springs, had undergone open heart surgery Nov. 17. Born April 25, 1914, in Anderson township, Clark County, Illinois, the son of John E. and Effie Walker McNulty. On October 21, 1939, he was married to Mary Petterson, of Ridgefarm. To this union three sons and two daughters were born. One son died at birth; and Larry (Lawrence Edgar) was killed in a accident September 6, 1969. His mother and father also preceded his in death. He is survived by his wife Mary; one son James of Michigan; three daughters: Mrs. Judith Ann Givins, Mrs. Deanna Lou Beebe and Vonda Kay McNulty of Colorado Springs. Two brothers: John H. of Dinuba, California, and Elza V., of Chrisman, Illinois; five sisters: Mrs. Norman (Ettsyell) Rhoads of Marshall, Ill., Mrs LaVern (Helen) Martin of Denver, Colorado, Mrs Virgil (Berniece) Vernon, Mrs. John (Lois) Brooks of Chrisma, and Mrs. Ray (Barbara) Bagwell of Chesapeak, Virginia; nine grandchldren and several neices and nephews. Mr. McNulty was a veteran of World War II. George will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He had a smile, and a helping hand for ever one. |
