Garel Kenneth Adams, son of the late Marshall Adams and of Mrs. Rosa Wade Collins of Dora, Missouri, was born near West Plains, Missouri, September 8th, 1925.  Entered into eternal rest December 20th, 1974, at the age of forty-nine years.
   On February 14th, 1946, Mr. Adams was married at west Plains, Missouri, to Vivian Louise Crick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Crick.
   Surviving are the wife, Vivian, of the family home, and three sons, who are Kenneth David Adams, Washburn, Illinois, Garel Dean Adams, Peoria, Illinois, and Dennis Leroy Adams of the family home.  There are four grandchildren surviving, as do two brothers and one sister, who are Johnnie Adams, Ava, Missouri, Naomi J. Adams, Dora, Missouri, and Marshall Adams, Jr., Morton, Illinois.
   He is preceded in death by his father.
   Mr. Adams was a Veteran of World War II, having served with the United States Air Force during that conflict.  He had been a member of the Assembly of God Church since early manhood, his membership being in the Church at Peoria, Illinois, and was a member of Local 974 U.A.W. at east Peoria, Illinois.
