Siloam Springs Man is Killed in Car Accident

Fred E Ellison, 40, Dies Saturday near Marshfield; Employed in Texas

Fred E Ellison, 40, a former resident of Siloam Springs, but who had been working recently in Corpus Christi, Texas, was killed instantly Saturday morning at 1 o'clock near Marshfield, Mo., when the car he was driving collided head on with a transport truck.
He was the son of Mr and Mrs George W Ellison of the Siloam Springs Route, who went to Marshfield Saturday as soon as they were notified of the accident.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete but will be in charge of the Robertson Funeral Home, where the body is being returned today.

Born in Cabool
Ellison was born in Cabool, Mo., February 27, 1910, but had grown up and received his education in Howell County. He had been working for his brother in law, James Howard, in Corpus Christi, and was driving Howards car at the time of the accident. The car was demolished.
According to information available here today, no inquest will be held.
Besides his parents, surviving relatives include two sisters, Rosa Howard of Corpus Christi and Nova Wilson of St Louis.

Funeral Services Tomorrow for Fred E Ellison

Funeral Services for Fred E Ellison of Siloam Springs will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at Siloam Springs, conducted by the Rev Ira Johnson.
Burial is to be in the Collins Cemetery under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home.
Ellison was killed Saturday morning near Marshfield, Mo., in a car-truck collision. He was the son of Mr and Mrs George W Ellison of Siloam Springs.
