Mrs. J. D. Nease Dies

   Mrs. Frances Nease, wife of J. D. Nease died at their farm home Sunday, March 2, at the age of seventy-four.  Mr. and Mrs. Nease were married in Newport, Tenn., May 3, 1877, and soon thereafter came to this country where they have since made their home in the Stony Point district.
   She was a staunch member of the Methodist church which she joined when a young girl.  Mrs. Nease is survived by her husband and seven children, Mrs. Horace Ottinger, Mrs. Will Cox, Mrs. Sim all of this city, Mrs. Pear Deane, New Mexico, Hugh Nease, Springfield, Will Nease, Mankato, Kans., and Jess Nease, Jamestown, Kans.  Funeral services were held at the Nease cemetery Monday afternoon, Rev. T. R. Stroup, officiating.
