Frances M. Collins Services Friday

   Funeral services for Frances M. Collins, 83, West Plains, will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with the Revs. Lester Bradford and Wendell Page officiating.
   Mrs. Collins died Wednesday at 9:10 a.m. in West Plains Memorial Hospital.  She was born Feb. 4, 1894, near Grimmett, Mo., the daughter of the late Dr. Thomas Benton Morgan and Mary Lane Morgan.
   She had spent her entire life in this area, receiving her education in the schools of Howell County and for many years taught in the rural school district here.  On Aug. 3, 1912, she was married at West Plains to Thomas M. Collins who preceded her in death March 4, 1966.  Mrs. Collins had been of the Baptist faith since early womanhood with her membership being in the First Baptist Church of West Plains for many years.  She was instrumental in starting the Bethany Sunday school class of that church and taught the class for several years.  For many years she served as secretary of the Howell County Baptist Association.  She also served as Republican committee woman for Siloam Springs for a number of years.
   Survivors include three children, Glen Collins, West Plains; Mrs. Flossier Hopkins, West Plains; Edward Collins, Collinsville, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and a brother Leroy Morgan, West Plains.
   Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, and a son, Gale L. Collins, and infant son, Paul, and four sisters.
   Interment will be beside her husband in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains.
