Floyd Clinton services Tuesday

Funeral services for Floyd A. Clinton, 75, Twin
Bridges, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 8, 2000, at Little
Zion Church, with Elder Cletus Powell officiating under
the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West
Plains.
  Mr. Clinton died 9;12 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, in
Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.  He was born
April 3, 1924, at Hebron, the son of Christopher
Columbus and Minnie Alberta Turnbull Clinton.
  He recived his education at Little Zion School, and
on Dec. 3, 1946, was married at West Plains to Opal
Thornton.
  Mr. Clinton was a veteran, having served witht he
U.S. Army.  He was a farmer and was active witht he
Esstern Douglas Community Center.
  Suvivors include his wife, Opal Clinton, of the
family home; four children, Gary Clinton and wife,
Sandra, and DArlene Kelly, all of Willow Springs, and
Sandy Watsona nd husband, Terry, and Rhonda Ward and
husband, Dan, all of Twin Bridges; 12 grandchildren,
Sherry Scaggs, Christy Graves, Gary Clinton II, Dusty
Clinton, Gary Wayne Stolba, Brad Stolba, Clint Stolba,
Tracy Watson, Brandi Watson, Kris Watson, Betsy Ward and
Andy Ward; six great-grandchildren, Shelby Scaggs, Gavin
Graves, Lindsay Stolba, Eric Stolba, Kaleb Stolba and
Kelsey Stolba; one sister, Nola Watkins, Wilder, Idaho;
and many nieces and nephews.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; one
grandson, Richey Alan Stolba; and seven brothers and
sisters.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Eastern
Douglas County Community Building and left at the
funeral home.
  The body will lie in state 1 p.m. today until noon
Tuesday at the funeral home.  Family visitation will be
6 to 8 p.m. today.
  Burial will be in Little Zion Cemetery under the
direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
