  Funeral services for Flossie Lillian Collins, 97, Gainesville, will be 11 a.m. today, Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, with the Rev. Fred Hamby officiating.
Mrs. Collins died 1:50 p.m. Friday, Oct 31, 1997, at Gainesville Health Care, Gainesville.  She was born July 20, 1900, at Paddy, the daughter of James and Mary Jane Spencer Paul.
  On April 29, 1916, at Birdtown, she married Walter G. Collins.
  She was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Dora.
Survivors include five Children, Earl Collins and wife, Cecil, and Neal Collins and wife, Juanita, all of West Plains, Hollis Collins and wife, Alice, Marionville, Ina Bird, Dora, and Maxine Johnson and husband, Marshal, Portland, Ore.; daughter-in-law, Helen Collins, Bakersfield; son-in-law, Claudie Obsborn, Willow Springs; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
  She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three children, Donald Collins, James Norris Collins and Darlene Osborn; and seven brothers and sisters.  Grace Kelly, Gladys Johnson, Don Paul, Warren Paul, Goldie Collins, Evelyn Martin and Celesta Robinson.
  Burial was at Union Grove Cemetery in Howell County under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc.
