Florence H. Pentecost, dither of the late John W. and Sarah E. Refro West, was born January 8, 1894 in Howell County, Missouri and departed this life September 6, 1970 in her home, Pottersville Rt., West plains, Missouri at the age of 76 years, seven months, and twenty-eight days.
She was united in marriage April 28, 1915 at West Plains, Missouri to D.A. Pentecost. To this union four children were born.
She is survived by her husband, D.A. Pentecost, West Plains, Missouri; two sons, Paul of the home, West plains, Missouri and Eldon W. Pentecost, Chief Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force, Shreveport, Louisiana; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Stewart and Mrs. Mae White, West Plains, Missouri; one sister, Mrs. J.N. Ball, West plains, Missouri; three grandsons, four granddaughters and six great grandsons. Her parents, three brothers, Alva A., Perry C., George L. West, and one sister, Mrs. Belle Dixon, preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
