Evelyn Fox, daughter of the late Burdine Johnson and of Mrs. Rosie Collins Johnson of West Plains, Missouri, was born near West Plains, Missouri, May 20, 1928. Entered into eternal rest december 2nd, 1976, at the age of forty-eight years.
On November 1st, 1946, she was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Leonard E. Fox, who survives her, as do five children, who are Barbara Dunn, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Leon Fox, Mountain Home, Arkansas, Nemol Fox, Pottersville, Missouri, Danny Lee Fox of the family home, and Rosalie Hensley, Mountain Home, Arkansas. There are five grandchildren surviving, as does the mother, Mrs. Rosie Johnson of West Plains, and four brothers and sisters, Mrs. Alfa Fox, West Plains, Missouri, Norman Johnson, Fairfield, California, Deloris Lewis, Medicine Bow, Wyoming, and Lonzo Johnson, Fairfield, California.
Mrs. Fox is preceded in death by her father and a sister, Laverne Harris.
She has been a member of the Vienna Non-Denominations Church at Crider, Missouri, for a number of years, and had been very active in the work of her Church and the affairs of her community.
