Hold Services Today for Mrs. Eva Ditto.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Ditto, 83, were held at 2. p.m. in Center Presbyterian church at seaton.  Rev. Glenn Catlin officiated at the services.  O.L. Willson of Little York, a nephew of Mrs. Ditto, sang "In the Garden," and "The Old Rugged Cross," accompanied by Mrs. R.B. Keilman.  Miss Rilla Van Eaton, Mrs. Lemoine Duncan and Mrs. Max Constant were in charge of the flowers.

Burial was in the family lot at Candor cemetery northeast of Seaton. Gene Leom, Lawrence and Harry Willson of Little York, Boyd McIntire of Rock Island and Lemoine Duncan of Seaton were pallbearers.

Mrs. Ditto died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Smith at Oswego, Monday at 11 p.m.  She had been failing in health for several months and was critically ill several weeks.  She was born in Ohio Grove township in Mercer County February 3, 1872, a daughter of Moses and Matilda Watt McIntire and was married to Lewis E. Ditto June 13, 1900.  They resided in their new home a mile north of Seaton where Mr. Ditto died June 2, 1924.  Following his death she moved with her son and daughter to Peoria.

Surviving are her son Clair of Alton and daughter Mrs. Ralph Smith, and four grandchildren at Oswego; two brothers Ernest McIntire of Arvel, Colorado, and Earl McIntire of Rock Island; a sister Mrs. Meade McKamy of Seaton.

She had many friends in this community.
