Eula Byers services Friday
Graveside services for Eula Mae Byers, 82, Springfield, will be 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
Mrs. Byers died 5:53 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at her home. She was born April 5, 1921, at Pomona, the daughter of Levi and Isabell Collins.
She grew up in Siloam Springs, and was a 1940 graduate of West Plains High School.
On Aug. 8, 1940, she was married at West Plains to Amos L. Byers.
Mrs. Byers was a homemaker and member of Silver Springs Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include one son, Bruce Byers, Springfield; one sister, Mona Collins, St. Louis; and one brother, Everett Collins, state of Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Amos Byers; and a sister, Ilet Perkins.
Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
