Elzey Collins rites Saturday

  Funeral services for Elzey Franklin Collins, 94, Dora, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Assembly of God Church at Dora.
  Mr. Collins died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.  He was born May 16, 1892, at Dora, the son of the late Bartholomew (Tol) and Mary Capps Collins.
  He received his education in the Collins School at Dora, and on Sept. 2, 1921, he was married at Dora to Alpha Clara Hall.  Mr. Collins was a veteran of World War I, having servd with the U.S. Army.  He had been of the Church of God faith and had attended the Assembly of God Church at Dora for 25 years.
  Survivors include his wife, Alpha Collins, of the home; two children, Eloise Epley, Dora and Eugene Collins, Montclar, Calif.; five grandsons; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one stepbrother, Estel Smith, Dora; and several nieces and nephews.
  Burial will be in Parson Cemetery.
