Elick Collins, son of the late Charlie Collins and of Ada Collins Marshall of Pomona, Missouri was born in Douglas County, May 3, 1920. Entered into eternal rest August 8, 1978 at the age of fifty-eight years.
In 1946 he was married to Letha Johnson at Salem, Arkansas.
In 1969 he was married to Yvonne Johnson at Salem, Arkansas.
Surviving Mr. Collins are four daughters and one son, Christine Collins, West Plains, Missouri, Susan Adams, Willow Springs, Missouri, Dorothy Chowning, West Plains, Missouri, Marlyn Sue Collins, Willow Springs, Missouri, and Larry Collins of Willow Springs, Missouri. Also surviving is his step-father and
his mother, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Marshall of Pomona, Missouri. There are eight grandchildren, three sisters, and one brother surviving, Oliver Collins, Independence, Missouri, Lucy Johnson and Ora Wheatley, both of West Plains, Missouri, and Dorothy Collins of Pomona, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his father, one sister, and a half brother.
Mr. Collins is a veteran of World War II, haveing served witht he 358th Air Service Group.
He was a member of the Bethel Church at Willow Springs, Missouri.
