Edward M. Collins funeral Tuesday
Funral services for Edward Milton Collins, 58, Collinsville, Ill., formerly of this area, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with the Rev. Wendell Page officiating.
r. Collins died at 4 p.m. Saturday in Oliver anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill. He was born June 6, 1921, at Grimmet, the son of the late Thomas Milton and Frances Morgan Collins.
On March 1, 1941, he was married at Peace Valley to Florence Godat. He was a charter member of Meadow Heights Church at Collinsville, Ill.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Florence Collins, Collinsville, Ill.; three children, Sandra Levey, Poulsbo, Wash.; Edward Milton Collins Jr., Centralia, Ill.; Patricia Brightwell, St. Peters; six grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Glen Collins and Flossie Hopkins, both of West Plains.
Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother, Gayle Collins.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.
