Edna Collins

   Edna Mae Collins, 93, of Willow Springs, Mo., died at 3:10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, in Willow Care Nursing Home, Willow Springs, Mo.
   Mrs. Collins born April 13, 1910, in Douglas County, Mo., the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Elizabeth Ann Sebier Dooms.
   On Jan. 14, 1931, she was married at West Plains, Mo., to Oliver Lee Collins who preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 1996.
   Before her retirement, Mrs. Collins had been employed as a cook at the Ridgeway School.
   She enjoyed cooking and enjoyed all the activities at the Willow Care Nursing Home.  Although, she did not have any grandchildren, she was Grandma Collins to many.
   Mrs. Collins is survived by one son, Howard Collins and wife, Violet, West Plains, Mo.; many nieces and nephews; and many special friends at Willow Care Nursing Home.
   She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers, Alford Morgan, Hardin Dooms, and Elmer Dooms.
   Mrs. Collins was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church since she was young adult.
   Graveside services for Edna Mae Collins will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Nolan Earls officiating under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
