Funeral services for Eddie Lloyd Collins, 57, Pottersville, will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with the Rev. George Greeney of Raymondville officiating.
Mr Collins died at 10 pm Tuesday as a result of an automobile accident at West Plains. He was born May 28, 1922, in Howell County, the son of the late Randall Collins and Bertha Johnson Oaks of West Plains.
In 1941 he was married in Howell County to Dorothy Douglas who preceded him in death. In 1954 he was married at Ava to Ellen Farrell. In 1975 he was married at West Plains to Lena Halloway, who preced him in death. Mr. Collins was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons and two daughers, Mrs. James (Pat) Owsley, Pottersville; Mrs. Terry (Sharon) Stephens, West Plains; Albert Collins, Pottersville; Bill Collins, Kansas City; Eddie Collins, Virginia Beach, Va.; seven grandchildren; his mother, Bertha Oaks, West Plains; three brothers and one sister, Nona Hicks, Pomona; Everett Collins, Pomona; Ralph Oaks, Leslie, Mo.; and Wilbert Oaks,
Pomona.
His father, two sons, and a daughter, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Pomona.
