Dennis Stubbs Services Saturday
Funeral services for Dennis Ross Stubbs, 56, West Plains, will be 2 pm, Saturday, August 16, 2003, in the Rose Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
Mr Stubbs died 3:12 pm Tuesday, August 12, 2003, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St Louis. He was born September 14, 1946, in Howell County, the son of Fred and Beatrice Ellen Collins Stubbs.
He graduated from the West Plains High School with the class of 1965, and in 1968 was married at Salem, Arkansas to Sharon Hale.
Mr Stubbs was a member of the Masons, enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and he never met a stranger.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three children, Allen Stubbs and wife Shawna, Carthage, and Sabrina Hicks and husband, Larry, and Toby Stubbs and wife Crystal, all of West Plains; 10 grandchildren, Chaz, Megan, Kennedy, Garrett, Tyler, Hailey, Lindsey, Elizabeth, Christopher and Jonathon; two brothers, Arnold Stubbs and wife, Lenore, and Ronnie Stubbs, both of West Plains; one sister, Brenda Jewell and husband, Jerry, West Plains; several nieces and nephews; and many many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Donald Stubbs.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Association of Special Citizens and left at the funeral home.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 3 pm Friday until service time. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 pm Friday.
Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
