Della Collins dies Monday
Private burial services for Della Maggie Collins, 90, Springfield, and formerly of this area, will take place at a later date at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins died Monday, Dec. 27, 1999, at Springfield Residential Care Center. She was born May 10, 1909, in Howell County, the daughter of Western and Lucindia Collins.
Mrs. Collins was a member of the Assemblies of God Church in springfield.
Suvivors include one daughter, Lorene Marcum, Springfield, 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hobart Collins; and one daughter, Deloris A. Stubbs.
An open visitation will take place beginning 10 a.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Funeral Home North of Springfield.
