| taken from the West Plains Daily Quill, Feb. 1930 WOMAN DIES IN TRUCK WHILE BEING BROUGHT HERE Mrs Cynthia Ellison Clark, For Many Years Resident of West Plains Had Been Living With Family in Cabool (from Tuesdays Daily Quill) Mrs Cynthia Ellison Clark, 69 years old, for many years a resident of West Plains, but who for the last four months had been living with relatives in Cabool, died at 7:30 last night near Olden while she was being brought in a truck from Cabool to the home of her son, John Ellison in West Plains. Mrs Clark had been sick for several months with stomach trouble. Her son and daughter in law, Mr and Mrs John Ellison and their children were in the truck with her when she died. Besides the son, John Ellison, she is survived by five other sons, and one daughter, who are Tom Ellison and Alvin Ellison of West Plains, Lewis Ellison of Mountain View, George Ellison of Hutchinson, Kansas, Luther Ellison of Pomona, and Mrs. Mary Osborn of Topaz, MO. The woman will be buried tomorrow in the Howell Valley cemetery, and it is probable the funeral services will be held at the cemetery. |
