Brenda Lou Cox

   Brenda Lous Cox was born Oct. 9, 1952, in West Plains, Mo., to Charles McDonald and Helen Lucille (Lovan) Cox.  She died Nov. 19, 2002, at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Mo., at the age of 50.
   She is preceded in death by her father, Charles; one brother, Donald Ray Cox; her grandparents, Otho and Ivan Lovan and Charles and Tennessee Cox.
   Brenda is survived by her dauther, Lori Lynn Cox of Willow Springs, Mo.; one son, Charles Shannon Cox also of Willow Springs, Mo.; two grandchidlren, Ethan Otho Dale Cox and Ivan Ran Lyn Cox; her mother, Helen Cox of Willow Springs, Mo.; three brothers, Larry Dale Cox and wife, Shirley, Cabool, Mo.,, Frankie Darrell Cox and David Lee Cox and his wife, Bea, of Willow Springs, Mo.; one sister, Elizabeth Ann Polanchi of Mountain View, Mo.; four adopted brothers, Chance Edward and Chase Cox, and Rodney and David Scott Cox, all of Willow Springs, Mo.; one adopted sister, Amanda Marie Cox of willow Springs, Mo.; 16 nieces and nephews; 18 great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
   Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.
   Funeral services were held at 11 am, Friday, Nov. 22, at the Westside Church in Willow Springs, Mo., with David Lovan officiating with interment the Willow Springs City Cemetery under the direction of the Dumncan Funeral Home of Mountain View.

Frank Raymond Cox

  Frank Raymond Cox, 82, Willow Springs, passed away Turesday, July 28, 1992, at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs.  He was born November 18, 1909 at Willow Springs, MO, the son of Herbert RAy and Effie Waggoner Cox.
  Survivors include his wife, Blanche Cox, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, CArolyn and JIm Gregory, Willow Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Kerry Cox, Nixa, MO; two brothers, Harold "Daig" Cox of Willow Springs and Russell Cox of Jefferson City, MO; two sisters, Ivah Lovan of Willow Springs and Mary Ann Feldman of NIxa, MO; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 31, at the Church of God with Rev. Carl Phipps officiating.  Interment was in Willow Springs City Cemetery.

Harold W. "Daig" Cox

   Funeral services for Harold Willis "Daig" Cox, 74, Willow Springs, were at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 1995, at First Christian Church under the direction of Hiler Funeral Home of Willow Springs with Don Brower officiating.
   Mr. Cox died at 4:12 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 1995, at Ozarks Medical Center (OMC), West Plains, MO.  He was born March 27, 1921, at Willow Springs, the son of Herbert Ray and Effie Waggoner Cox.
   On May 15, 1943, he was married at Willow Springs to Lucille Sherrill.
   Mr. Cox was a salesman for Harlin Fruit Company.
   Survivors include his wife, Lucille Cox, Willow Springs; two daughters, Sue Lynn Kitzmiller and fiance, Jim Lamb, Kalamazoo, MI, and Lou Ann Collins and husband Dale, Willow Springs; one brother, Russell Cox, West Plains; two sisters, Ivah Lovan, Willow Springs, and Mary Ann Feldman, Nixa, MO; four grandchildren, Bob Ellis Jr. and wife, Kim, and Christina Ellis, both of Kalamazoo, MI, and Sabrina Collins and Tara Collins, both of Willow Springs; and one great-grandson, Jacob Ellis, Kalamazoo, MI.
   Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Hiler Funeral Home.
