Funeral Held Wednesday for Collins Tots
Funeral rites were held here yesterday for three little girls killed in Barnsdall's worst highway tragedy.
Closed casket services were held for Bonnie Sue Collins, 1, and Joan Collins, 5, in the Assembly of God Church; while open casket rites were conducted for their 11-year-old sister, Elizabeth Ruth, children of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Collins.
Services for the three Collins children were held at 2:30 p.m., yesterday with Rev. E. R. Roberts of the Assembly of God Church officiating.
Pallbearers were all children.
Boys serving were Eugene and Odean Lewis, Donald Clapp, Orville Walker of Pershing, Freddy Parker and Harold Charter.
Girls serving as pallbearers were Colleen Roberts, Joy Attaway, Carol Jean Wilcox, Betty Cornsilk, Donna Thomas and Patty Salkill.
The two younger Collins children were buried in single casket.
Interment was in the Barsdall Cemetery. The Barnsdall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
