| West Plains Daily Quill April 4, 1989 Clora Collins funeral Saturday Funeral services for Clora Edith Collins, 85, Dora, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 1989, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drgo Funral Home, West Plains. Mrs. Collins died at 2:05 p.m. Monday, April 17, 1989, in Ozarks Medical Center. She was born April 9, 1904, in Ozark County, the daughter of Jess and Melissa Ellen Fox May. She received her education at the Lone Pilgrim School in Ozark County, and on July 3, 1924, she was married at Pottersville to Thomas Jay (Tommy) Collins, who preceded her in death Aug. 31, 1984. Mrs. Collins had been a christian since childhood and had attended the Crider Church of Christ and the Lone Pilgrim Church of Christ. Survivors include five children, Bertha Lou Richardson, Caulfield, Gertrude Hoobler, Twin Falls, Idaho, Bobby Collins and wife, Merlene, Dora, Imogene Belcher and husband, Walter, Pottersville, and Rosa Lee Wood, Twin Falls, Idaho; 19 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; one brother, Claudie May, Pottersville; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one granddaughter and seven brothers and sisters. Burial will be in Ledbetter Cemetery. |
