Clifford Collins services Sunday

   Funeral services for Clifford Charley Collins, 80, Thayer, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, in the Carr-Montgomery Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Brother Erman Croney officiating.
   Mr. Collins died 1:05 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999999, at his home.  He was born April 2, 1919, at Mammoth Spring, Ark., the son of David and Dora Taylor Collins.
   He was married to Dorothy Parnell and then to Dorothy Majors.
   Mr. Collins was a truck driver, and belonged to the Alton-Thayer Elks Lodge and Thayer Eagles.
   He was of the Church of Christ faith.
   He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Collins, of Thayer; three sons, Jerry Collins and wife, Carolyn, Melissa, Texas, Gerald Collins and wife, Daphane, Mobil, Ala., and Ernie Crowell, Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Catherine Butler and Husband, Charles, Camp, Ark.; a stepson, Travis Burnham and wife, Linda, Ft. Smith, Ark.; his first wife, Dorothy Parnell Smith; nine grandchildren, Shei Bowen, Jo Collins, Amy Nokes, Rebecca Koelling, Dianne  Butler, Kenny Collins, Heidi Sims, Scott Collins and Amy Burnham; and eight great-grandchildren.
   He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
   Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery at Wirth, Ark., under the direction of Carr-Montgomery Funeral Home of Thayer.
