| Chloe Bertha Anderson, daughter of the late Jacob Riley and America Josephine Brasher Johnson, was born June 18, 1905. She entered into eternal rest January 7, 1989 at the age of eighty-three years. She received her education in the schools of Shallowater, Texas and on Oct. 11, 1924 was married at Lubbock, Texas to Rufus Clay Anderson. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, Clay Anderson, St. Charles, Missouri; two daughters, Clay Jean Sanderson and husband, Larry, Page, Arizona and Nancy Chloe Scott and husband, Homer, St. Louis, Missouri; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters Ethel Eddleman, Enid, Oklahoma and Eva Davis, Lubbock, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Anderson was a Christian with her membership in the Curry Street Church of Christ of West Plains, Missouri for many years and recently, had attended the Karen Church of Christ at St. Charles, Missouri. |
