  Charley Jarvis Clinton, son of the late Christopher Columbus and Minnie Alberta Turnbull Clinton, was born February 19, 1914 at Hebron, Missouri.  He entered into eternal rest August 29, 1994 at the age of eighty years.
  He received his education at the Little Zion School and on May 17, 1934 was married at West Plains, Missouri to Orpha O. Thornton.
  Mr. Clinton had been a farmer and had worked in sawmills and the timber industry for years.  He enjoyed woodworking, crafts and kept horses which he worked and enjoyed riding on trail rides.  Mr. Clinton loved being with his family and friends.
  He is survived by his wife, Orpha O. Clinton, of the family home; five children, Lenvil Clinton and wife, Carol, Vanzant, Missouri, Randy Clinton and wife Anita Jo, Willow Springs, Missouri, Joyce McDonald and husband Robert, Dora, Missouri,  Bernice Gasperson and husband, Gerald, Mountain Grove, Missouri and Ruth Sheppard and husband, Stasey, Willow Springs, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Oleta Clinton, Mountain Grove, Missouri; twenty-six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; twelve step great grandchildren; three brothers, Roy Clinton and Floyd Clinton, both of Twin Bridges, Missouri and Chester Clinton, Oakhurst, California; on sister, Nola Watkins, Parma, Idaho; and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
  Mr. Clinton is preced in death by his parents, three sons, Leon, Leroy and Stanley Clinton, one granddaughter, one grandson, Royce Dean Clinton, his father and mother-in-law John and Ada Thornton, four brothers, Deb, Bill, Elza and Lester Clinton and three sisters, Cora Collibns, Elsie Davis and Lola Clinton.
  In November of 1977, Mr. Clinton was converted and baptized and was a member of the Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
