| Howell County News May 1, 2003 Chalmer Ray Hale Chalmer Ray Hale of West Valley City, Utah, son of the late Byron M. and Eathel Clinton Hale, was born Aug. 9, 1933, in Vanzant, Mo. He died March 11, 2003, at West Valley City, Utah, at the age of 69 years, seven months and two days. Chalmer was a timber worker. Survivors include his wife Alberta Hale of West Valley City, Utah; his children, Brenda Pennington, Vickie Richard, Norma Upson and Bernida Holmes, all of Idaho, and Ray Hale of West Valley City, Utah; two brothers, Alvin Norman Hale of Steeleville, Mo., and Glen Hale of Vanzant, Mo.; one sister, Katie Worley of Willow Springs; his grandchildren Danee, Kody, Dusty, Clinton, Cristy, Ben, Becky, Kenny, Jeremy and Kendra; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin Hale, and his father and mother. Private memorial services are Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at Dry Creek Cemetery, beginning at 2 p.m. with David Lovan officiating. |
