Cecil Collins, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Thanksgiving day, Nov. 28, 2002. He was born in 1933 in Siloam Springs, MO.

Cecil is survived by his wife, Jean, of 51 years, of the home; six children - Clifford Collins - Kingman, AZ, Jennette Yoder - Garden City, Joyce Dryden - Kingman, AZ, Cecil Eugene Collins - Archie, Calvin Collins - El Dorado Springs, and Judy Rappisi - Kingman, AZ. Also surviving are one brother, Charles Collins - Springfield; two sisters - Kathy Hicks and her husband, Doyle - Belton, and Bonnie Robb - Springfield; 31 beautiful grandchildren and 11 beautiful great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cecil enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing and spending time with his family. He was a truck driver when he was younger and became a carpenter and welder. Eventually he became a custom cabinet builder and finish carpenter. He had worked in Arizona on the Glen Canyon Dam and also on Burro Creek Bridge in Kingman.

He will be forever missed as he will be building our new home in heaven.

Memorial services were held on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 30, at the Church of God (Holiness) with Rev. Dana Taylor officiating under the direction of the Hackleman and Sons Funeral Home.
